Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire went through it this week, as a rainstorm wreaked havoc on its open terrain. They had to shut down from Monday through Wednesday to make the trails skiable again.
Typically, ski resorts shield the public from what they need to do after a messy rainstorm comes through. To the contrary, Waterville Valley painted an impressive picture of what they were able to pull off in such a short timeframe.
