For many people who love to wakeboard, you know it is more of a social activity than many other sports might be. This is something we wanted to include in our review here because the manufacturer expressly warns about NOT storing wakesurf boards in typical boat board racks, because often times the more fragile wakesurf boards can end up being damaged while stored in these racks.

While not as aggressively designed as the Obrien wakesurf board we just covered previously, the 2020 Connelly Habit Wakesurf Board is a great addition to our list because it is an option that is a bit more affordable, and is a smaller board for more beginner to intermediate wakesurf riders.
The Connelly Habit wakesurf board is probably a much more casual option to consider adding to your wake gear arsenal, and could be a great buy to have around for the kids to try out during a day on the lake. While not a novelty or toy at all, the 2020 Connelly Habit Wakesurf Board is certainly a real-deal board, but it is definitely not one of the more high-end or high performance wakesurf boards available today. So if you are on the smaller side, under 190 pounds, this is definitely a solid wakesurf board that can help get you started in this unique sport.
The performance and shaping of the 2020 Connelly Habit Wakesurf Board is also worth mentioning, since it only has a single 1” fin and features more of a skimboard design than a multi-fin surfboard design. The 2020 Hyperlite Shim Wakesurf Board is also available in three different sizing options, ranging from 3’9”, 4’7”, and the largest option, which is the 5’3” size.
This also represents a fantastic wakesurf board option for the genuinely larger riders out there, considering that the 5’3” board size can support riders up to 240 pounds! Not many wakesurf boards really have a 240-pound capacity, so this could be a selling point for a larger rider who wants to try wakesurfing.
